Seven Hawks Vineyards
Member Introduction
Seven Hawks Vineyards is located one mile north of Fountain City, Wisconsin, on steep blufflands overlooking the Mississippi River Valley. Our vineyards include almost 18,000 northern hybrid vines, making us one of the largest vineyards in the upper Midwest.

We began planting our grapes in 2004, and we are now harvesting large quantities of Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, St. Croix, Sabrevois, La Crescent, Brianna, Prairie Star, and Marquette grapes each season, and we’ve been crafting our rich fruit into award-winning wines since 2007.

Our tasting room and wine bar are located in Fountain City at 17 North Street, an 1870’s renovated gem, one of the many fine old buildings in historic Fountain City, which began in the 1840’s as a stop-off for early river boat traffic, and has remained a true river town ever since.

Fountain City’s dramatic riverbank landscape is also home to our Hawks View Cottages, Lodges and Suites, which we opened in 2000, featuring five deepwoods bluffside cottages, looking out across the Mississippi River, two large blufftop lodges surrounded by our vineyards, and two deluxe suites located on the upper floors of our tasting room building. These various lodgings provide memorable getaways for travelers from around the world, and of course feature complimentary Seven Hawks wines for every guest.
