Visit Castlerock Museum in Alma, Wisconsin vfor a special program with reenactors from the 2nd Minnesota Battery of Light Artillery.
Visitors can see a full-size replica of a Model 1861 ten-pounder Parrott Rifle and discover how the cannon was used. They can also learn about the soldiers’ lives, artillery shells and flags, period music and games, and Civil War era firearms. There will also be a display of quilts made by the women of the Second Battery using period patterns and reproduction fabrics.
Visitors can also check out the Civil War display in the museum's new American galleries. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students. Museum members get a $2 discount. For more information, contact the museum at 608-685-4231 or

Castlerock Museum has over two thousand years of history in a building that looks like a castle!
