Barrelhouse blues, solo piano plus drums by the formidable Michael Caskey. Johnny, a Philadelphia native, moved to New York City at 22 where he met one of his greatest musical heroes, Junior Wells. Since 2010, Johnny has been recording and touring with his garage cabaret band the Claudettes. Johnny is a proud carrier of the tradition of Barrelhouse Blues having recently released a solo album on the classic Delmark label out of Chicago.
